Not every branded CVE matters here. This section answers one question: is Malaysia actually exposed?

Methodology

Exposure signals come from public scan data (Shadowserver, Shodan) filtered to Malaysian IP space, plus authoritative local alerts (NACSA/NC4, MyCERT). Figures are reported as aggregate counts by sector/region only — never listable IPs. Counts are point-in-time snapshots; trend arrows compare against the previous check. Ransomware-affiliate exploitation patterns (e.g., Qilin’s mass exploitation of Fortinet CVE-2024-55591 and CVE-2024-21762 for initial access) weigh heavily in prioritization — an exposed edge device in Malaysia is a ransomware claim waiting to happen.
