RectifyqA Personal Mission for National Cyber Resilience
Rectifyq is not a commercial entity, a formal NGO, or a massive community hub. It is a personal initiative dedicated to continuous learning, skill refinement, and contributing back to the Malaysian cybersecurity ecosystem. Currently, this project is entirely self-funded (though support and sponsorships are always welcome to keep the lights on).
Why Rectifyq?
In the local industry, we face a distinct “Malaysian Gap.” While global threat intelligence is abundant regarding Western infrastructures, local organizations often struggle with:
- Localized Intelligence: Global APT reports rarely focus on Malaysia. Are we under-reported, or just under-observed?
- Budget Justification: Finding concrete, local references to justify cybersecurity spend to stakeholders and Boards.
- Actionable Contribution: Many talented Malaysians want to contribute to the local landscape but lack a focused platform or structured data to start.
Our Objectives
- Compile and Curate: We ingest and tag threat data with a strict focus on the Malaysian Threat Landscape.
- Contextual Analysis: We don’t just share links; we analyze how global trends specifically impact the Malaysian context.
- Enable the Community: Rectifyq provides the resources. You are encouraged to take our analysis, extend it, and showcase it on your own platforms (LinkedIn, Medium, etc.). Tag us, and we will help amplify your work.
